Detective Mike Lederle
Detective Lederle is a fourteen year veteran of the Columbia Police Department during which time he served in the Major Crimes Unit, evidence technician, crime scene specialist, department photographer, hostage negotiator, and media specialists. Lederle has a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice Administration and has over seventeen hundred hours of specialized training including advanced training in Internet investigations and computer forensics.
Detective Lederle’s professional memberships include the Columbia Police Officers Association, Missouri Division of the International Association of Identification, Association for Crime Scene Reconstruction, Law Enforcement Division of the Professional Photographers Association of Missouri, and Co-founder and Board member of the Columbia Police Foundation, Inc.
Detective Lederle’s primary responsibilities with the Task Force are the Investigation of Internet related offenses both reactive and undercover and the forensic examination of computers and associated media.
